Due to Covid-19, Islington Boxing Club has had to shut, our normal fundraising activities have been forced to be on hold, the cancellation of our bi-annual dinner boxing show fundraiser was a big blow to the club. . 

With no income coming in at all for the foreseeable future but expenses still going out, the long term prospect of survival after the lockdown could be in doubt.

A few members of the club have recently taken part in fundraising activities, I felt that I should step up and give myself a personal goal to walk a half marathon (13.1 miles) to help raise money for IBC on Sunday 2nd August 2020
