It is with deep sadness to announce that our beautiful, strong mum passed away on 8th august at 7.40am with all of her girls by her side, she fought a short battle with cancer but unfortunately cancer won.

Mum dedicated her life to the care industry and was a keen supporter and fundraiser of Grove Cottage throughout her life. She would sell her old toys etc when she was a child and donate her profits to them, then later on in life she would also volunteer her time. 

Mum has requested for her ashes to be spread in a few places so although flowers are a lovely idea, we won't really have anywhere to keep them afterwards so in memory of mum, we would ask that you instead make a donation to Grove Cottage, either through this Just Giving Page or at the funeral itself. 

This will take place on Wednesday 23rd August at 3.15pm, it will be held at Parndon Wood Crematorium in Harlow.
