Our Pilgrimmage this year is from St Oswald's church in Heavenfield to St Oswald's church in Lower Peover, via St Oswald’s Oswaldtwistle. This is a total of 190 miles (322Km). Oswald was the great christian king of the ancient kingdom of Northumbria, he helped his people to understand christianity and grow in their faith. Named after Oswald we share his vision! To support people at happy and sad times, drawing upon all the resources of the church and to help them grow in understanding of their faith and love for God.
