Hey everyone!

On the 3rd October 2021, I will be running the London Marathon with the awesome crew at Pumping Marvellous!

Pumping Marvellous are a charity based in the UK who do amazing work to support people of all ages who suffer with heart failure.

My father in law Rob Marchment was diagnosed with heart failure. Pumping Marvellous helped him throughout his journey, becoming a support group he could lean on and be with a community of people dealing with their fight against heart failure. Their guidance and help was not only there for Rob but for us a family when Rob sadly passed away last September. Their fight is still ongoing and Rob was very passionate about their causes and wanting to help others alike.

In Rob’s memory and in the spirit of helping others and wanting to raise awareness about heart failure, we hope to continue his legacy and raise money for this amazing charity that will continue to help those just like Rob.

Any donation, shares and support will go such a long way and would mean the world to me and Rob’s family. I feel honoured that I have been asked to run with these amazing people and hope I do Rob proud.

The core activities and strategy of the Pumping Marvellous Foundation are driven by the needs of heart failure patients, carers and family communities we serve. We get to the real crux of the problems, the problems that patients tell us they have. Our communities are large and we have superb interactions with them, we run the largest Facebook page dedicated to Heart Failure globally so we fully understand the needs and challenges they face. We develop and distribute patient information to the vast majority of NHS Heart Failure Teams in the UK.
