Story
On the 17th September 2019 my daughter Rhys will be taking on the National 3 Peaks Challenge in memory of her dad Mitchell Cole and to help raise funds for Cardiomyopathy UK.
Sadly Rhys' Daddy died from Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy at the age of 27 when Rhys was just 7 years old.
She has wanted to do something to make her Daddy proud for some time now so has decided, alongside her Uncle Joe, Aunty Carly and Cousin Peter, to put her incredible athletic ability to the test and take on this monumental challenge at the age of 13.
The National Three Peaks Challenge will see Rhys climb the three highest mountains of three different countries in just 24 hours!
She will walk a total distance of 23 miles and climb a huge ascent of 10,052ft in a single day across Scotland, Wales and England.
Every penny Rhys raises will be going to Cardiomyopathy UK - a specialist national charity for people and families affected by the disease. Cardiomyopathy is a disease of the heart muscle and affects around 1 in 500 people in the UK.
Please help my brave young lady who misses her Daddy a tremendous amount by donating whatever you can.
Thank you so much for your support.
All our love - Rhys and Charlie x
