I am starting this page to utilise my social media contacts to hopefully make it easy for my friends and family to donate. As most of you will know I have a very personal connection with Nepal and it's people and have only just recently returned from another period of volunteer work there.

The death toll is still climbing following the devastating 7.8 earthquake that struck just outside Kathmandu on 25th April.

The large International aid agencies will be the best placed to help with the larger scale needs of Nepal at this time, but smaller focused charities such as Community Action Nepal are well placed to assist the remote mountain communities, which may be "overlooked" by much of the mainstream aid and support.
