Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am taking part again in the Norfolk Churches Trust Annual Cycle Ride on Saturday, 2 September 2017 (a week earlier than the official day, with the Trust’s agreement) and should be grateful for your financial and other support.

The funds I raise will be shared equally between the Trust (http://www.norfolkchurchestrust.org.uk/) and my own church (All Saints' Church, Chedgrave - http://www.chetvalleychurches.org/) to support their work.

Maintaining church buildings is important for many reasons, not least because the churches are active in their communities.  Local support and witness remain essential parts of church life, and the Church in Chedgrave is active in many ways, with benefit to many individuals and families.

I always enjoy the exercise provided by this event and the opportunity of visiting some lovely buildings and meeting a lot of people.  As in previous years, Nicholas, my middle son, will join me. We have started to plan a route in South Norfolk and hope to concentrate on churches with round towers.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they will never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they will send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I will raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Please support me (and donate now, if you can).  Thank you.
