Story

So this is my first ever marathon, so that alone is enough reason to sponsor me!

However, there is also another big reason I am doing it. I was inspired to run at the London Marathon when I went to a Sense International event back in September last year. I met some of the amazing people that are supported by Sense but also their families, and carers.

Sense international work in eight countries around the world. Children with deafblindness desperately need to receive education and healthcare. We know that without this, many will live short, lonely lives.

Sense International are a small charity but have a big impact because of the way they work. They provide expertise and training to local organisations and persuade governments to provide support.

With this support, children with deafblindness can receive the medical and educational support they need. They can learn to communicate, to develop self-care skills, receive an education and perhaps find a job.

So i really hope you can sponsor me and donate to Sense International - be generous!! :-)
