"Prior to lockdown 1 I could barely run to the end of street, never mind 21km. I did my first 5km as part of the run 5, donate 5, nominate 5 in April 2020. To relieve the boredom and monotony of this and subsequent lockdowns, I began to run further to improve my physical and mental health. I gradually built to regularly running 10k and further and eventually joined Cheltenham running club. Cheltenham half marathon is my first official event so I am a little nervous... your donations are much appreciated for this very worthy cause."
