Story
Hi guys,
Mental health can massively affect our everyday lives.
Through personal experiences; I have come to appreciate this fact. Although my experiences would be regarded as common, the experiences have nonetheless opened my eyes. It's great that I have had support, but others do not have this luxury. Many suffer in silence. For this reason and others, mental health is increasingly topical, there are many charities and schemes in place working hard to get people talking, reduce stigma and discrimination.
Mind in Tower Hamlets and Newham (MITHN) are an example. MITHN also provide ground level support to promote well-being, recovery and resilience.
I'm running a number of races and marathons, to support MITHN in the great work they are doing and I hope you can too! Running is something I enjoy very much, something I attribute a lot of my physical and mental health too. Not just asking y'all to dig deep this time around, I hope to give back a little something by documenting the journey : www.youtube.com/channel/UCmpRM4b20dOtGldSoxeWSJw
