It is with utter saddnes that I put this memorial page together to remember Richard. His stoicism in the face of Malignant Melanoma since 2007 has been a lesson to us all and his ever hopeful attitude was an  inspiration.  He was a very good man. We all love him very much and he leaves a hole in our lives that will never be filled. 

There is little in the medical world that has an impact on this cancer and we would like to see strides made towards finding its cure. For that reason we would like you to dig deeply to supprt the Myfanwy Townsend Melanoma Research Fund in Richard's memory, who fund awareness training and support for The Royal Marsden, in whose hands he placed himself.
