We provide life-changing employment support to veterans with health conditions.

Story

The transition into civilian life can be exceptionally tough, especially when you have a major health barrier to employment. The Poppy Factory helps disabled veterans to restore their financial independence through sustainable and rewarding careers, and their ongoing support enables veterans to thrive in their new workplace. Please help me to support The Poppy Factory in providing a truly bespoke employability service.

The Poppy Factory works hard to ensure that every workplace values disabled veterans. The Poppy Factory have now supported over 700 veterans to find work in their own communities by helping them and their employers to create successful careers.

For those veterans who have complex health conditions, the challenges to finding and staying in work can be significant. But as many veterans tell us, work is so much more than “just a job”. Finding a meaningful career path again can help veterans regain self-confidence and find  purpose in their life once more.

The Poppy Factory is based in the Borough of Richmond Upon Thames. Following a visit to the charity and hearing of their exceptional work, John, Tom and Pete decided to to run the Richmond Half Marathon to support this local charity.

Our Inspector, PC and Scenes of Crime Officer have already put on their trainers and started their training regime in time for the big race on Sunday 17th September.

Please support John, Tom and Pete achieve their goal of raising £1000 for the Charity.
