I’ve always wanted to run the London Marathon and have been unsuccessful in the ballot for the last 8 years, so this year I decided I wanted to do it for a good cause as well as for myself!

Everyone I know has been touched by the dreaded big C in one way or another, and as much as research to cure this horrible disease is key, there are charities that do so much to care for anyone who has to deal with it today. Harbour Cancer Support is an independent charity that offers practical and emotional support to anyone affected by any cancer. Their centre offers a safe haven for cancer patients, their families, carers and friends to come and spend time in a warm and welcoming environment, in which they can receive much needed support throughout their cancer journey.

All of their services are offered free of charge and are not limited to a set time scale, meaning people can access the vital support for as long as they need. I’m hoping to be able to contribute to the vital support system that this charity provide to anyone who is currently suffering so anything you can donate will help!

After finally getting a spot for London 2020, it was obviously postponed due to the pandemic and then due to injury i was unable to complete it in 2021. Hopefully finally 2022 will be the year!
