Story

Boroughmuir Rugby is taking on a massive challenge to raise £5,000 towards the extension and of our in-house Club & Community Gym. The fundraiser ties in with this years Rugby World Cup, where we want to collectively walk, run, row or cycle 9,250km, the distance from Meggetland to the Yokohama Stadium in Japan, where Scotland takes on Japan in the Rugby World Cup (13th October 2019). The Challenge will finish on Saturday 26 October 2019 with a relay session in the gym where all teams (coaches, players and parents) can compete to top up the kilometres. The Scottish Rugby Union have already promised us £50k towards the £100k total we need to complete this exciting project. This challenge together with other fund raising initiatives already underway will help us get to our target.
