Fundraising for Social Life Opportunities
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am running the Birmingham 10k on May the 6th 2018 for a very good cause.
The reason why I'm doing this is because sometimes we can only see what's directly in front of us, however if we look beyond this then maybe we can see that there are people out there who aren't as fortunate as you and I.
Therefore I have pledged to help at least one good cause every year as long as I'm able to do so. This may be through fundraising, volunteering or through any support I can offer.
I am supporting a local charity called SoLO. They are a local charity based in Solihull who work with children, young people and adults who have learning disabilities.
SoLO aims to add value to the lives of people with learning disabilities and believe that people with disabilities often miss out on enjoying opportunties, activities and experiences that others take for granted.
