Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit the RiverRidge Recycling JustGiving page.

Brett Ross, Managing Director at RiverRidge Recycling explains: “This year we saw NI Children’s Hospice at work first hand and we were blown away by the support and advice available. There are over 1,300 life-limited children and young people in Northern Ireland who, along with their families, require the specialist care that only this organisation can provide. Therefore, to not only support, but to focus all our charitable efforts into NI Children’s Hospice wasn’t a hard decision for the company and our  Charity Committee to make, even though we have never done this before.

“We have a number of fundraising events planned throughout the year that we are incredibly excited by.  We will be hosting a number of film premiere nights throughout Northern Ireland, we’ll be running in the Belfast City Marathon in a relay event, hosting local quiz nights and a fireside quiz along with and organising drive-in movies. We also hope to hold some large scale events such as a Bin Pull Race across the North West, which we really hope the local public will really get behind and support.”

The NI Hospice and Children’s Hospice provides specialist care to children, young people and adults with life- limiting illness. Their aim is to provide the best quality of life for patients and their families in the Hospice and in the community.
