Can I please ask if any persons would be kind enough to support me in this sponsored challenge to raise money for local Age UK here in Calderdale.

The people working in this field do an amazing amount of fantastic work providing and caring for people at the latter and end stages of their lives, providing care, support, warmth, company and dignity.

With the recent reduction in governmental funding across all areas, coupled with the amount of dire need in the winter months, Age UK here in our town need all the support and help they can to continue their level of care and support. 

Both in the day centres, and within the wider community, where many people often living alone and isolated, struggle throughout the winter months, and especially at Christmas, which can be a sad and lonely time for many.

The aim is to bring some assistance in funds to boost Age UK locally in helping to provide new and updated equipment, furniture, facilities, clothing and gifts to bring some happiness and relief to people who are often by some, forgotten about. 

Any donations no matter how small would be greatly appreciated, and to inspire me to achieve this feat, and reach the target I have set myself to raise of £800.
