Story
A little over three years ago I was enjoying a normal life doing the things I have always taken for granted. Suddenly, out of what seemed to be nowhere I found myself in hospital for 4 months suffering from acute kidney failure. There were some dark times when I thought I would never be going home. With the the magnificent help of the great people at Kings College Hospital in London I did get to go home and I am now back to work, playing my guitar and generally enjoying life again. The debt I owe is immeasurable and I could never thank enough everyone who supported me in my recovery , family, friends and work colleagues alike. It has been a long journey from not being able to climb the stairs to now riding my bike whenever and wherever I can and trying to keep myself in good physical condition.
I have decided it is time to try to 'pay back' in someway and so I have committed to embark on a 400km cycle journey from Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam to Angkor Wat in Cambodia and ask you to support me in raising money and awareness for Kidney Care UK.
Please give as much as you can, every little contribution counts. If you are a company I would be more than happy to endorse you or wear your logo. I will be adding regular updates and live photos once I begin my journey on 18th November into Eastern Asia until my return to London on 28th November. The cover photo on here is generic and I will be adding my own shortly.
Thank you so much for your kind support in helping me realise what I was not sure I ever would be able to do.
Much Love Rob
