I'm honoured to be fundraising for Teens & Toddlers, a pioneering charity which has an innovative approach to boosting social mobility by helping less-advataged young people reach their full potential.  The charity runs a 18 week programme for young people dis-engaged from education. They partner these young people with toddlers of play school and pre-school age, giving them responsibility and a sense of belonging for both parties.  It's during this programme when the young people become role models and develop skills such as communication, listening and leadership - as well as building their confidence and self-worth.

After the 18 week programme, the young people graduate to become 'Young Leaders' and have the option to join the 'Young Leaders Group' whereby they can participate in bespoke employability and cultural activities. In addition to this, they have access to a mentor who can help them find the right path back into education or employment. I was lucky enough to speak at one of the graduation ceremonies in 2017 to 150 young people and parents - it was a magical event with so much talent and potential in the room!

My firm Weil, has been supporting T&T by providing mentors for the young people so I have first-hand experience of seeing the powerful impact T&T have on the young people they support.
