Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In February this year, my mum, Suzanne Robinson, suffered a heart attack whilst at work. She was taken, in an ambulance, straight to Brighton hospital where she had an immediate operation to have stents fitted. This operation stopped the heart attack but she remained in hospital for four days, having another four stents fitted during that time.

Thanks to all the care and support of the cardiac and rehabilitation teams, she is now well on the road to recovery, and is getting fitter and stronger every day.

On Sunday 19th May, myself, my mum and many others will be walking from Brighton Marina to The Peace Statue in Hove, and then back again, to raise money for The Sussex Heart Charity. This charity helps to fund the continued cardiac rehabilitation, which mum is attending to help maintain her recovery. The Sussex Heart Charity also funds research, supports the development of new services for heart patients and funds Community AED and Resuscitation Training programs.

Please donate sponsor this worthwhile cause that is now very close to our hearts..
