In memory of Mel Mayhew
We provide vital care and support to people living with a progressive illness

Story

We are raising money for the St Elizabeth Hospice in memory
of our dear friend and colleague Mel Mayhew.

Mel worked with us at Flagship for a number of years but was
sadly diagnosed with terminal cancer and passed away in January 2019. During
the last few weeks of Mel’s life he stayed at the St Elizabeth Hospice, where
he received invaluable end of life care.

Throughout 2019 Mel’s family, friends and colleagues at
Flagship will be holding various events to raise money for the St Elizabeth
Hospice. We will keep this page updated with what is going on but our aim is to
hold at least one event per month and raise as much money as possible for this
very deserving charity, who rely on fundraising and donations to keep them
going.

Your support, however big or small, will keep valuable money
going to this amazing charity and will allow us to give something back to the
St Elizabeth Hospice for helping our friend, at the end of his life.

About the charity

St Elizabeth Hospice improves life for people with a progressive illness. Our work centres around individual needs, with specialist support, wherever required, at home, in the community or at the hospice. Each year the hospice needs to generate £12.9m, of this 70% comes from the local community.
