Fundraising for Nuevas Esperanzas
Story
In September, I will be running half the Tiree Ultramarathon as part of a relay to raise funds for Nuevas Esperanzas.
Your donation, no matter what amount, will go towards promoting the health and well-being of many living on the Telica volcano in Nicaragua.
Nuevas Esperanzas works to promote sustainable development in rural Nicaraguan communities. Their projects encompass the sectors of water and sanitation, food security, health, education, conservation and sustainable livelihoods.Last year, I spent 6 months volunteering with them in Nicaragua. Witnessing the values and ethics held by everyone on the team has made me want to fundraise to support their truly life-changing projects.
Okay, so it's not a Freddie-type challenge, but it will still be a challenge! Award my hours of running in the rain and keep me motivated by donating and sharing my page now.
