Story
I'm supporting Nerve Tumours UK because they have given our family a lot of support over the last 15 years following the diagnosis of my youngest son with NF1 who has had some significant medical problems as a result. They provide crucial support to people living with the Neurofibromatoses- the conditions that cause nerve tumours. Neurofibromatosis Type 1 is a common condition occurring in 1 in 2500 of the population, with approximately 25,000 people in the UK diagnosed with the condition. They are dominant genetic conditions, which means that they can be passed on in families from one generation to the next through genetic inheritance, although, as in our case, they can appear 'out of the blue' with no family history. Please support me so that this brilliant charity can continue to offer support to families impacted by NF. Thank you
