As many of you will know, I am Zak's mum and a trustee of the Foundation. Through the generosity of others, many whom have never met Zak and the hard work and dedication of all involved at the Foundation we have had a successful second year raising approx £80,000 to date.

Zak's dreams and wishes is what guides his Foundation. Last week saw us granting our 280th Braveheart wish. Each wish bought was a unique gift to each young person in the hope of lifting their spirits as they recover in hospital after enduring major heart surgery.

We also had a special addition to the Foundation family, Braveheart, our special mascot.  With Braveheart lion winning our hearts, we decided to get cuddly Braveheart lions produced to give to all the heart kids who are admitted to hospital.

Our holiday home retreat 'Zak's Haven' has been a huge success with the heart families and is already fully booked over the summer months.

None of this would have been possible without the continued support of others. Any donation, whether big or small will def go a long way in helping us give hope and strength to some special Bravehearts and their families.
