Story
In November 2014 I was diagnosed with a 4th ventricular ependymoma brain tumour which was removed in December at Southampton General Hospital under the care of Mr Paul Grundy and his clinical fellow Vas Apostolopoulos. I was in hospital for 32 days following this and am still in recovery. I want to do this cycle ride not only to help raise money for brain tumour support in the hope that better care can be made available for brain tumour sufferers but I also hope to show to other brain tumour patients that it doesn't mean the end of life as they know it, and they can get on with life afterwards and be active and healthy. I also want to do this to show my gratitude towards all who took care of me in hospital, from my surgeons, the ward doctors and nurses at Southampton General. Every single one of them were fantastic. I have chosen to cycle the "Mega Meon" sportive held on July 25th 2015 of 76 miles

I was initially going to do a New Forest event on 19/09/2015 but decided I wanted to do something earlier, but I can't change the event...just to let you know to avoid confusion!
I have no idea how much I will raise but any money donated is very much appreciated.
