I am part of a team from the 25th Stirling (Dunblane) Boy's Brigade travelling to the community of LIkhubula in Malawi in July 2019 to rebuild and repair classrooms. By doing this we hope to offer hundreds of children a better education and hopefully a path out of poverty. This in partnership with the charity Classrooms for Malawi who work throughout Malawi to improve places of education in some of the worlds poorest communities. As Nelson Mandela once said, "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world".
In total we have to raise £85,000. As part of my personal fundraising I will be partaking in a hike between 2 of Scotland's Iconic bridges, the Forth Bridge and the Kincardine bridge, in March this year. Any sponsorship would be greatly appreciated.
Our Project Malawi team are also running various events on the run up to our departure. Some of these events are:
• Whisky Tasting - 9th February
• Gin Tasting - 9th March
• Wine Tasting - 14th March
If you are interested in purchasing any tickets to these upcoming events then please get in touch :)
Thank you very much,
Ross
