Story

The Butterflies are headed to Bestival ... and its going to be a race!

MAKE A DONATION AND WIN A PAIR OF BESTIVAL TICKETS FOR 2015.

Raising funds for the Kissy Puppy appeal, a gig rowing boat full of savage girls will be trying to propel their butterfly passenger from Hurst Castle to Colwell Bay on the Isle of Wight before the crew of grumpy guys can beat them to the finish line carrying their own winged wonder within their old galley boat!

Add the word GIRLS or GUYS to your donation to select the boat that you think will win. All of those folks that selected the triumphant boat will be entered into the draw to win a pair of BESTIVAL 2015 tickets. DONT FORGET TO LEAVE YOUR NAME AND TICK THE BOX SO I CAN CONTACT THE WINNER.

Water bombs and super soakers are mandatory for both crew and spectators, so come and watch. Colwell Bay. 10:20 - 11:00 am, Thursday 4th September

The Kissy Puppy - Sophie Rolf Trust is working with the Earl Mountbatten Hospice with the goal of providing support and care for children living with and dying from life-limiting illnesses from 2015.

The newly established Yarmouth Gig rowing club and its OARdeal crew members are looking to make rowing traditional boats fun and accessible to the local community

Martin

I'm Martin. They call me the General, cos I'm generally confused! Row to Bestival?? What's Bestival....some sort of spelling mistake?? Anyway, give us your money!!

Jim

The reason I am doing this is because it is cheaper
than the ferries

Daryl

It's times like this I was I could walk on water.... Then I wouldn't have to row this bloody old boat across the Solent!

Ian

What do you mean it's for charity? ... I thought we were getting beer tokens for it!! Arse!!

Dave

What do you mean you can't tell the difference between my fancy dress and my normal attire??

Rocky the reserve

Alright, I’m Russell and living on a desert island would be great as I like training on my own and don’t really like people.

Gig - Savage Gals (plus 2 old women)

Russ

Hi, I'm Russ and it's my job to 'stroke'  the savage girls all the way across the Solent!

Kim

Hello, I'm Kimberley, Kirstiens big sister. I have the vast behind and the heaving treasure chest and I'm not very good at rowing. Wish me luck.
