Story

Hello everyone!

In the summer of 2016 I'll be going to Uganda for three weeks with the charity East African Playgrounds. By the time I leave Uganda, we will have built a playground for a local community in Uganda.

Millions of kids around the world don't have the same privileges as we do when it comes to growing up. It really struck me that something as simple as a playground, which is so easy to take for granted, could make such a difference to the lives of so many children.

The target set by East African Playgrounds is £1,600. In January, I went vegan to raise money towards this target. Check out my facebook page for more updates!

The money raised is so important in getting the materials needed for the playgrounds and funding the work done in Uganda. All the remaining money goes towards preserving the Ugandan Mountain Gorillas and encouraging pride in East African communities. I'm extremely grateful for any donations, but more importantly, there'll be a generation of kids who will be grateful for their playground!

Thank you!
