I've never run a marathon before. The furthest I've ever run is 10K and that was a few years ago...  This is not going to be easy but I want to do it for Eikon.

I've been working for Eikon for a few months now and am honestly so inspired by what they do. Young People these days are so exposed to situations that negatively effect their mental health be it at school, at home, in their communities or online.  Services in Surrey are so stretched, that children are often not getting the urgent help they need, when they need it.  Eikon provides support for them, early on in order to prevent their problems from becoming a crisis.  They provide:

• Youth Workers in the community and safe places where children can feel secure, build friendships and learn to thrive.
• Youth Specialists in schools for children and young people to reach out to, or be referred to when they are struggling.
• Resources for teachers and other professionals to help children learn to cope and thrive, no matter what life throws at them.

I am hoping to raise £2,000 in sponsorship which would make a significant difference to Eikon's work.  £15 would pay for a school lunch club, £30 would pay for a  one-to-one session with a youth specialist and £150 would pay for a young person to go to a youth club in their community once a week.  Please give generously.
