Running4RAM
Collectively we smashed the 1,000 miles challenge.👍🤗
We are half way there to hitting £1,000.
Life got in the way of my personal challenge of hitting 1,000 miles but I've been asked to reopen the fundraising as Cora is going to be swimming for Bobo again this year. I'm going to keep going too and now that Forbes is in nursery I plan to train to do some long runs in the next year.

🦶 We will walk 500 miles! 🦶
🦶 We will walk 500 more! 🦶
As many of you will know, my nephew, Bobo died in 2017 after 19 months of suffering at the hands of DIPG.
Not Rare! Not Fair!
Bobo was a very active boy. He grew up playing football and loved his motocross. He enjoyed family adventures walking Jip and Cola in the Cairngorms.
After Bobo was diagnosed with DIPG, he was still able to live an active life and enjoyed enduro runs on his motocross. As the tumour started to affect his balance, it didn’t stop him and he made use of his quad bike.
To help him with movement, as his ability to walk got worse, they set up an exercise bike in the living room. He joked with his mum and dad about clocking up miles to cycle from John O’ Groats to Land’s End. How ever far he cycled, his parents would match it to see how far they could get. Sadly Bobo deteriorated quickly and never saw this through.
As a tribute to Bobo we want to see how far we can go for him...walking, running, cycling or swimming and raise money for The RAM Foundation.
All money raised will be donated to support research and clinical trials into paediatric DIPG to find a cure. Details can be found on the website linked below.
We would like everyone participating to put on their RAM T-shirts, headbands or simply download the 'Running4RAM’ Logo and pin to your t-shirt while doing your 5, 10, 15, 20.....miles
