Story
Most of you may be aware of my passions for mountains. It is becoming a tradition to climb a mountain each year. My previous climbs were in Argentina, where I have summited the Mount Aconcagua of 22,834ft in 2016 in Argentina, also the Mount Montblanc (15,780 ft) in France in 2017 and, finally, Mount Matterhorn (14,690 ft) in Italy last year (2018). All my expeditions were organized independently on my own and the climbing partners and no climbing agencies or mountain guides involved. I have chosen this way because you get a complete experience by organizing the logistics yourself and finding the route on the mountains.
So, here is my 4th expedition plan upcoming in June. This year, my plan is to summit the 3rd highest peak in Georgia - Mountain Kazbek 16,510 ft. It is dormant stratovolcano, the second highest mountain in the Caucasus. I will be supported by my two colleagues on this challenge. Also, if the weather will be on our side and we will be able to successfuly summit the Mountain Kazbek, the plan is to climb another famous peak - Elbrus. However, I will be on my own on this challenge and my partners will have to leave straight after climbing first peak. Mountain Elbrus will be my first solo climbing experience. Elbrus is considered the highest mountain in Europe 18,442 ft high. It is also the highest dormant volcano in the Caucasus region, on the Russian side.
