I am going to walk the full length of Offa's Dyke (177 miles) starting at Sedbury Cliffs, Chepstow on 19 August and I am aiming to arrive at Prestatyn on 31 August 2019.

 I am taking on this challenge due to a close family member having been diagnosed with Marfan Syndrome. Following this diagnosis it brought to light how few people have heard of this so I'm hoping to raise awareness of the syndrome and also raise funds for the Marfan Trust who have supported my family and who require funding for medical research projects that aim to aid the diagnosis and treatment of Marfan Syndrome.They provide educational literature on Marfan syndrome and all its aspects to the medical profession.Also to provide peer-to-peer support and medical guidance to those affected and their families.
