We've chosen Living Paintings (where Ruth is currently working) as they do fantastic work that transforms the lives of 10,000 blind and partially sighted people.  They do this by providing a free library of tactile books and audio guides, giving blind and partially sighted people access to the visual world, and enabling them to 'see' with their fingers.  Four year old Tots, pictured above, is one of the children who has benefited. She is suffering from cancer and currently going through chemotherapy.  Her mum thought that she would never be able to enjoy books again after she lost her sight as a result of her condition. Living Paintings books have kept this enjoyment alive.

They are a small organisation and achieve a lot with a small amount of money, so if you want your donation to make a real impact on people's lives this is a great charity to choose.
