Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

So I have been known for coming up with a crazy idea every now and then, so when left alone for 30 minutes at the Outdoor Show I some how managed to sign myself up for a tandem skydive. Sounded like a great idea at the time, after all I will be strapped to an army guy, but as the date draws closer I am starting to think that I should maybe think things through a little bit more before saying yes. As my fellow friends of DiveAbility should have kept a closer eye on me I am hoping to raise as much as I can to support them. 

DiveAbility is a charity which is very close to my heart. I have been volunteering as a diving instructor since the charity was born. Along the way there has been tears of joy and tears of sadness, loads of fun and laughter and a few crazy times thrown in for good measure. No two pool sessions are ever the same and each month we see new faces who want to join this crazy gang. By supporting me jump out of a plane you will be helping us to continue with these pool sessions, give us more work to do, more equipment to clean but most importantly you will be giving people the opportunity to try something they thought they would never be allowed to do. No words could ever describe the smile on someones face when they have completed their first dive. Some of our members have a disability that makes the simplistic tasks difficult and many of us take for granted on a daily basis, for others it's a welcome break where they are treated like everyone else with no questions asked. 

I have set my target at £1000 but if everyone just donates a pound (or the cost of a beer) and shares my page I am sure this target will be smashed in no time at all. If my target is reached I will do an added bonus of a fancy dress bike ride around Richmond Park.
