We support victims of domestic abuse to allow families to move on in the future.

Story

May 2019 I will be attempting to climb the three highest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales - Scafell Pike, Ben Nevis and Snowdon, in one weekend.

I've wanted to raise money for the DASH charity for a long time. They give valuable support to families affected by domestic abuse and their help to vulnerable people is life changing. No one should feel like their home is unsafe or a prison, DASH are that stepping stone to freedom. Not only do they help families that are in need, from support in leaving abusive and toxic relationships, to providing refuge for families in danger, they also help to educate children on healthy relationships through their workshops in schools. Being a small and local charity, they have to work really hard to stay afloat.

I wanted to undertake something which was also a personal challenge to me, which is why I have chosen this rather than a half marathon...because I really don't like heights! This is going to be as much of a mental challenge as a physical one for me.

Your support would mean the world to me, I know everyone is asking for money these days, so even a quid is very much appreciated!
