James and Allys will be taking on the 13.1 mile trek through the beautiful city of Cambridge in order to raise money for the Papworth Trust. Papworth Trust do amazing work to support and offer fantastic opportunities for disabled young people and adults. Papworth Trust is a leading disability charity that supports thousands of people, their families and carers. Their work includes providing a range of high quality services for disabled and disadvantaged people and campaigning for changes that disabled people want. Papworth Trust support disabled people with employment, housing and many other aspects of their lives.

 
All donations to James and Ally’s effort will be put towards the Papworth Trust drama project at the Opportunities Without Limits service at Abington, where up to 20 participants will have the opportunity to attend a 12 week drama workshop, to devise, create and rehearse a show, leading to a public performance. The Opportunities Without Limits service provides leisure, learning and work related activities to more than 1,000 disabled people, supporting those with physical and learning disabilities ranging from mild to moderate to more complex needs.

 
At SEN Legal where James and Allys work, we have previously worked with Papworth Trust in supporting their fundraising attempts and are aware of the impact of the work that Papworth Trust has on people with disabilities. They are excited to take on the Cambridge Half Marathon to continue to support the remarkable work the Papworth Trust does.
