Hello, and thanks very much for taking the time to visit our page!

 

We are students from Springwood High School Sixth Form King's Lynn and later this month we will be attempting to do a 24 hour cycle ride in our sixth form social area. 8 of us will be cycling on 2 exercise bikes from 1pm on 24/10/13 to 1pm on 25/10/13. All the money raised is going to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Kings Lynn Rudham Children's Ward. We aim to raise money to not only help pay for new equipment for the ward, but to support in providing new methods of entertainment for the children who are admitted there.

We have chosen to donate our funds to Rudham Ward as some of us have previously spent long periods of time admitted there as young children. We feel we would like to give something back to those who helped us in our time of need. Rudham Ward provides excellent care to young children and is always in need of support to organise fun activities for the children to put their mind at rest when away from home.

 

If you would like to donate to our cause, it would be greatly appreciated and any amount will help. If you are a student at Springwood we have collection boxes around the school including the vocational office, maths office and the Sixth form office.

 

Other ways to donate are paying money direct to one of us taking part or by sending a cheque made payable to “Rudham Ward” to the address below.
