The Essex Speech and Language Therapy Society are fundraising as part of Speech and Language Therapy Awareness week! We will be taking part in multiple activities to raise awareness and are hoping to raise a bit of money for our chosen charity, Dementia Adventure along the way.

Our society members will be using different communication aids to communicate, drinking thickened fluids, and eating pureed diets and documenting their experiences.

Dementia affects so many aspects of life, including communication, and we are all likely to be affected either directly or indirectly by dementia in our life time. We really support this cause and hope that our fundraising efforts will help them with their work!
