Thank you to everyone who took part in our 2020 event, your efforts are hugely appreciated.
By coming together, we successfully raised vital funds and awareness for a charity close to our community and our hearts.
Times have been difficult for everyone and your continued backing is valued but First Step really do need all the support we can offer right now, not only as a result of Covid-19 but also because of cuts to the charity’s funding.
Our page will remain open for a while and donations and any support are still always welcome.
We hope you will join us again next year for our 2021 STEP2IT event.
Minimum Donation: £5.00
The outbreak of coronavirus has affected all our lives in lots of different ways and like many other events, we have had to cancel the STEP2IT Havering 5K this year.
With so many of us in isolation and with social distancing strongly advised, it is important that we stay connected with our network of family, friends and colleagues and with that in mind we are challenging you to get involved in our virtual fundraiser for First Step.
We’ve set out a number of challenges and want to see which one YOU can complete. (You can always put on your creative caps and show us your own challenges). All to help raise awareness and donations for a wonderful charity.
Our STEP2IT challenge event will take place between 15th August – 15th September 2020 and with thanks to social media, it can take place anywhere you find yourself!

What do you need to do?
Simply pick a challenge from our list or create your own, once you’ve completed your challenge, donate £5.00 per person (or more!) and don’t forget to take a picture for us to see and share.
1. PICK a challenge (make sure you follow the current social distancing guidelines!)
2. DONATE £5.00 per person (or more!) via Just Giving or DONATE £5.00 by texting FIRSTSTEP to 70470.
3. SHARE the challenge amongst friends, family and colleagues – nominate others to take part. The more people who get involved, the better. We can give you, your friends and family or your business a mention!
4. TAG @step2it5k in your pictures, videos and boomerangs across Instagram, Facebook or Twitter and you will be entered into a prize draw. Don't' forget to use our hashtag #step2it5k as well!
