Story

25 years ago, whilst a 1st year medical student at Birmingham, I grew my hair and then had it shaved (probably an improvement!!) in public, raising money for a local charity.

In May 2018, and even better looking for the years which have passed, I aim to repeat this, raising money for the Cancer Appeal at Dorset County Hospital. This will help fund a dedicated Cancer building, including providing patients in West Dorset with much-needed Radiotherapy facilities. As a Consultant Dermatologist at the hospital, I realise the enormous impact this will have on patients with Skin Cancer as well as other patients with Cancer.
