Three years ago I became a a type one diabetic. This means through no fault of my own my pancreas doesn't make insulin any more. If I don't give myself regular injections of insulin I will become ill and die.

Lucky for me I get my insulin for free through the NHS.  For some children in AS Asia this is not the case. If their families cannot afford their insulin they will die.

A4D provides insulin therapy for such children.  £400 is the cost of insulin therapy for one child for one year.
