After taking on the 25k Thames Path walk as a team last year - we wanted to challenge ourselves to take on the 50k in 2018. PLUS the team has very kindly agreed to walk in aid of The Pituitary Foundation. I was diagnosed with Acromegaly five years ago and my first surgery also left me with pan-hypopituitarism - the foundation was and is an incredible support to me - as are the brilliant team doing this walk :) Being able to fundraise for this charity and know that it will directly impact other patients with support that is not found anywhere else for these rare conditions means so much. Please give generously as everything you donate will ensure (services such as) a trained and understanding endocrine nurse can continue to provide 121 support and advice to patients.
