Well I have turned 40 and for some crazy reason thought it was a good time to do something out of my comfort zone!

I will be abseiling from Yeovil Hospital roof in May to raise funds for the Endocrine department and the A&E department.

In 2015 i was diagnosed with Addison's disease, this is where your adrenal glands or pituitary gland are damaged, resulting in not enough of the hormone cortisol being produced, hormones that give instructions to virtually every organ and tissue in your body, this is a life long and life threatening illness that requires daily medication and emergency injections when required and plenty of visits to the hospital.

I can not thank Yeovil Hospital enough, they have worked wonders, with support and care for my self through out this journey. The A&E department have worked tirelessly hard with their care for both my kids and myself on the occasions we have had to make a visit. 

So I ask please, if you can spare anything, even the smallest amount, it all helps in a big way to go towards something that is close to my family's hart.
