Story

In December 2012 Hannah and Vincent Gauci lost their 2 year old son Sacha very suddenly from a brain tumour.  As a mother with two boys, one the same age as Sacha, this really affected me to think that a little boy so happy and full of life could be taken away so suddenly.  No parent should ever have to go through the loss of a child.

Hannah and Vince have been inspiring with the way they have coped with this loss, and are raising money in memory of Sacha for World Child Cancer.  They have already raised over £7,000.

I have only been running since November but am very proud to be running as part of “Team Gauci” in the London Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon raising money in memory of Sacha.

Please help motivate me and support this very worthwhile charity.  Even a small donation can make a big difference to a child’s life.

Thank you.

In low- and middle-income countries fewer than 1 in 10 children with cancer are diagnosed, treated or given pain relief. World Child Cancer improves cancer care for some of the world’s poorest children by creating international twinning partnerships between medics hospitals and parent support groups
