Story
'Our aim is to alleviate stress and reduce the isolation of families who experience neonatal care.'
As a premature baby, born at 29 weeks, weighing 2lbs 10oz, I was lucky enough to have two parents with enough medical insight to keep me going, however that is not always the case for each child and their family.
I will be running the Great Manchester 10km Run, and all of the money raised will be going towards resources and support for neonatal babies and their families, including welcome packs, links to community support and outreach groups to provide emotional and practical support, trauma therapy sessions for families, sibling support groups and training for support volunteers.
Please donate what you can in order to maintain the invaluable work that this charity does.
