We support people in Surrey to achieve their potential

Story

The Shires Brothers - Sam and Ed - are taking on RideLondon100, a 100 mile bike ride from London, through the Surrey Hills and back, to raise money for the Surrey Care Trust.

The Surrey Care Trust supports families and individuals to fulfil their potential, and to break the cycle of deprivation.

Last summer Ed had the chance to work with the Surrey Care Trust and help them think through a new strategy. Through this, he formed a personal connection with the charity - and saw first hand both the great work they do helping the disadvantaged in Surrey, and the huge challenges a small charity faces in raising the funds they need.

Ed was constantly inspired by the difference the Surrey Care Trust was making to peoples lives, and the passion shown by their staff and many volunteers.

He wanted to show more support for Surrey Care Trust, so got Sam involved and we both signed up for this challenge!

We really appreciate anything you can give - or any support you can give us on 4th August.
