Me and Heidi have both been affected by people very close to us who have had cancer and would love to run the marathon to raise money for people that have been affected by cancer . My brother got told he had acute leukaemia 1st February 2017 and was told he had 24 hours to live but some miracle the treatment worked even doctors were amazed he then under went extreme chemotherapy and radiotherapy to body and head in the mean time my brother went blind due to the cancer coming back and going behind the eyes which damaged his optic nerve. We were told he needed a bone marrow transplant which I was the match we did this 30th August 2017 and it was a success it’s nearly 2 years since the bone marrow transplant and he is cancer free but unfortunately due to all the treatment he went through his lungs are now very damaged so still in and out of hospital it’s been two long years for him to keep on battling for his life but he is so strong he keeps on fighting for his little boy I just pray he gets a break and gets better and gets he sight back as the poor boy as been through so much already would be my dream to get my brother back fit and healthy again just need to keep him positive.  Heidi story so my Daughter Trixie at age 9 got diagnosed with a brain tumour last feb 2018 due to her constant thirst &she was getting very tired all the time. After lots of test, mri , ct scans & a lumber punch they realised it was a type of tumour called a germonoma which is highly treatable with radiotherapy. Also a eye test revealed Trixie had lost a lot of her sight & could of gone blonde so brain surgery was performed to remove part of the tumour to save her eye sight. Then we were sent to London for her to receive 25 blast of radiotherapy to her head & spine to shrink it. Trixie lost all her hair through the proses but was a absalute legends as she never Moaned once. A year on my little angel is doing amazing she is tumour Free & her hair is slowly growing. Unfortunately she will have to take medication for life as she has pituitary  difficiancy but with her meds i is all treatable & she is back to school full time & dancing with all her friends . Unfortunately my brother Charlie Pharoah passed away 28th July after 2 and a half years battling for his life he is now pain free sleep tight my beautiful angel. This has made me more determined to raise as much money as we can so other people do not have to suffer the same pain our family has .
