Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit A-Grade Dog Training's Justgiving page.

Each year A-Grade Dog Training invite their clients, friends, contacts etc to become involved in raising money for a good cause, and this year we've chosen Canine Concern Scotland Trust (& The Therapet Service) a charity which:

"cares for dogs so that dogs can care for us"

Canine Concern Scotland Trust was formed in 1988 to help dogs and their owners, and to improve their position in present-day society. Its aims are to:

Provide an educational service to promote responsible dog ownership in Scotland by visiting schools to reach dog owners of the future, or to give talks, supply useful literature and advice to any interested Community Groups.

  • Establish and manage the service known as "Therapet".

  • Further the role and care of dogs in Scotland, either directly or in co-operation with Government, Local Authorities and other organisations in Scotland, whether charitable or not.

  • Promote research into the therapeutic value of dogs to patients or others isolated from normal association with pets.

  • See http://www.canineconcernscotland.org.uk/

The challenge ........ we would like you to take a FESTIVE POOCH PIC - this can be funny, cute, unusual (but must always be kind to your dog!). Firstly make a donation to our Justgiving page, then email your pic to sandra@a-gradedogtraining.co.uk.  A-Grade Dog Training have started this off with a £20 donation - and it's entirely up to you how much you would like to donate (justgiving's minimum amount is £2 upwards).  From a small donation to a little more, it will ALL be appreciated, and you can donate even if you don't enter the competition!

All entries will be added to the A-Grade Dog Training Facebook Page, with a closing date of Wednesday 21st December 2016.   Objectively judged, there will be a prize for the winner! (Winning dog must live in UK)

Come on A-Graders, friends, friends of friends etc - join in the fun and help raise money for Canine Concern Scotland Trust along the way!

Thank you!  Sandra

About the charity

Formed in 1988, CCST is an entirely voluntary charity. Its 'Therapet' service involves registered dogs and their owners visiting hospitals, nursing homes, schools and other institutions on a regular basis to provide ‘pet therapy’, restore confidence and bring happiness to everyone they encounter.
