On the evening of Saturday 19th March 2022 we are taking part in the London Walk, organised by our friends the London Homeless Collective.

Story

On the night of 19th March we will be walking the marathon distance of The London Walk to support SPEAR

Between us we hope to raise £700.

The London Homeless Collective organise The London Walk - to fight homelessness in the city. To quote the Collective: "How great is London? The life, the passion, the vibrancy. There's always something going on including around 11,000 people that sleep on London's streets every year. And 1000s and 1000s of hidden homeless who you don't ever see. That part's not nice is it?

SPEAR is a homelessness charity based in South-West London and this year, is proudly celebrating it's 35th year. They know that tackling homelessness is more than just a housing issue and therefore provide a holistic response to breaking the cycle of homelessness in the London Boroughs of Richmond, Kingston, Wandsworth, Sutton and Merton. Last year, through their accommodation and support programmes, they helped over 1,000 people in their journey away from homelessness. Their vital support for those who are homeless is needed now more than ever.
