For those of you that were lucky enough to know Emily Sumaria and her wonderful family through CLC, Leeds University or wherever, will know she touched our lives in many ways. Tragically she lost hers unexpectedly when she passed away in her sleep 3 years ago. I am determined to help in a small way by contributing to a medical charity which seeks to address the unexpected cause of her death. 

SUDEP Action is a small charity which works tirelessly to both raise awareness of, and fund research into Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy together with providing vital bereavement support for families and friends left traumatised by losing someone they love. SUDEP Action receives NO government or institutional funding and relies solely on the generosity of individuals.

My fundraising target is £4,000 and I am over half way there. However the date is looming and my preparations are ramping up. Thank you on two fronts. For a) managing to make it through to the end of this essay and withstanding yet another donations appeal and b) thank you for any donations that you can spare.
